Job Summary
Rozan, an Islamabad based non-government and not for profit organization, working on emotional health, gender and violence against women, youth & children, invites applications from excellence-driven, self-motivated and committed women for the position of a Counselor.
Key Reponsibilites
▪ Provide counseling through telephone, in-person, and through e-mail and letters.
▪ Conduct sessions and trainings on psychosocial support, psychological first aid, etc.
▪ Develop IEC material related to psychosocial support and GBV.
▪ Plan and execute awareness-raising campaigns on psychosocial and GBV for helplines.
▪ Document activities, meetings, quarterly reports, and analysis reports of helpline.
▪ Networking & advocacy related to mental health, psychosocial support, and GBV.
▪ Maintain records pertaining to project-related meetings, orientations, training, seminars, etc.
Requirements
▪ Master's degree in Psychology. Preference will be given to those who have MS or a one-year diploma in clinical psychology.
▪ Minimum 5 years of proven experience especially working with helplines.
▪ Excellent counseling skills and experience in providing online counseling.
▪ Good understanding of psychosocial issues and gender-based violence.
▪ Excellent networking and advocacy skills especially with the government departments.
▪ Excellent communication, documentation, and facilitation skills.
▪ Proficiency in English and Urdu (knowledge of local languages will be an added advantage).
▪ Good project management skills.
▪ Sensitivity towards gender, women, and children issues.
▪ Willingness to take up challenging tasks.
