Z.M.K. & Co. seeks applications for the position of Accountability to Affected Population (AAP) Officer for Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) Program SKP.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The AAP Officer will work closely with ISD Programmes, IT & PMER Unit and provide technical support and guidance to the Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) team, to ensure effective implementation of the CO CFM standard operating procedures.

Detailed REsponsibilities will be:

  • Leadership and advocacy on SBC and AAP-Provide leadership on SBC related policy issues to the Peshawar Provincial office SBC Unit including on the choice of SBC objectives, policies, and context-based priorities.
  • Develop and define strategic operational measures to address the SBC risks affecting beneficiaries and communities identified through SBC/ protection risk analyses.
  • Support the roll-out of the UNICEF Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) Standard operating procedures and the application of relevant tools and guidance. Provide advice, guidance, and follow-up in relation to protection aspects of the CFM.
  • Support the development of a “Training and Capacity building Schedule / Guidance Documents, Training materials and potentially relevant on SBC and AAP mainstreaming including for ISD Program.
  • Assist UNICEF to coordinate with other UN humanitarian agencies, NGO, INGO partners and other relevant interlocutors on assessments of current and emerging protection/ SBC issues and response planning and explore strategic partnerships.
  • Represent UNICEF in AAP WG, PSEA network) if functional.
  • Actively participate in relevant coordination forums, including the AAP Working Group and PSEA Network (if functional), representing UNICEF’s interests.
 

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Protection, International Development, Development Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accountability to Affected People (AAP).

  • Experience in developing and implementing Community Feedback Mechanisms (CFM).

  • Experience working with UNICEF or other UN agencies, with knowledge of their policies and procedures.

  • Experience mainstreaming protection in sectors like food security, shelter, WASH, and camp management.

  • Experience in capacity building and developing operational guidance on protection and AAP.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of humanitarian protection, AAP, gender-based violence (GBV), and humanitarian policy issues.
