Job Description:

To provide logistical, administrative, and supportive assistance in Women & Girls Friendly Spaces (WGFS), ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment that fosters empowerment, confidentiality, and access to essential services for women and girls.

Main Responsibilities

1. Facility Management & Maintenance

  • Ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of the Women & Girls Friendly Space (WGFS).
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming environment for all visitors.
  • Report any damages or required repairs to the supervisor for prompt resolution.

2. Supporting Women & Girls

  • Assist in welcoming and guiding women and girls accessing WGFS services.
  • Provide support during group activities, awareness sessions, and recreational events.
  • Help in distributing materials and resources to beneficiaries.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure a safe space for women and girls.

3. Administrative & Logistical Support

  • Assist in arranging chairs, materials, and equipment for sessions.
  • Keep inventory records of supplies and report needs for replenishment.
  • Support in documentation and attendance records for activities.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with facilitators and counselors to ensure smooth activity execution.
  • Provide feedback on women and girls’ concerns and needs to relevant staff.
  • Support outreach efforts to encourage participation in WGFS activities.

5. Safety & Protection

  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding principles and ethical guidelines.
  • Identify and report any protection concerns or risks to the designated staff.
  • Maintain a respectful and non-judgmental approach toward all beneficiaries
  • Carry out any other task assigned by the supervisor
