Overview:
Jhpiego, an international non-profit health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, has been a global leader in advancing maternal and child health for over 50 years across 150+ countries. UNFPA with the support of Government of Netherland has initiated program to improve quality health and gender based violence services as well as community engagement initiatives for women, adolescents and marginalized population among Afghan refugees and host community in Pakistan, The program aims to reduce prevalence of discriminatory practices and gender- based violence as well as availability and uptake of quality sexual and reproductive health services, the focus of the programme is to improve health and well-being of women and girls in the communities so they can live a dignified life.
Jhpiego seeks Program Officer-Training to support the implementation of the UNFPA Project based in District Nowshera -KP, Baluchistan and District Attack -Punjab, the Program Officer training will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure the smooth execution of project activities especially training. The candidate will have good training and coaching skills, experience in donor-funded initiatives, and the ability to coordinate with District stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to support project initiation, implementation, and closeout
- Assist in the development of training plans, preparation of training, conducting trainings prepare reports, and create presentations for both internal and external audiences.
- Coordinate and organize training sessions and stakeholder nomination meetings, including
- Support data management efforts, monitor program performance, and contribute to report preparation for informed decision-making.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for program implementation at federal and provincial levels in alignment with project work plans.
- Help prepare essential documents required for effective program delivery and activity
- Assist with the execution of program activities at the district level, maintaining detailed records using a tracking sheet specifically for the UNFPA project.
- Contribute to the development of project documentation, including quarterly and annual reports, evaluations, and donor-required work plans.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or Project
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma in Community Health Nurse/LHV with at least 5 years of relevant experience in program implementation, preferably within international organizations, INGOs, or donor-funded initiatives.
- Strong experience in conducting and facilitating training
- Excellent team coordination and collaboration
- Proven background in administrative support, program operations, and logistics
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining
- Familiarity with database management is an added
- Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Locally based and willing to relocate to relevant
- Proficiency in English, Urdu, and local language
