1. Leadership in Technical Operations:

  • Oversee and manage all technical aspects related to inspection, quality assurance, and third-party verification services in report writing
  • Ensure that inspection protocols adhere to international standards such as ISO, ASME, API, and other relevant certifications.
  • Lead technical teams in conducting inspections, audits, and assessments at client facilities and manufacturing premises.

2. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific technical requirements and international standards for inspection and QA/QC processes.
  • Conduct regular audits of inspection activities to identify and rectify deviations or inefficiencies.

3. Technical Expertise and Problem-Solving:

  • Provide expert technical guidance on complex inspection methodologies, including NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), welding inspections, and material testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges encountered during inspection projects.
  • Stay updated on advancements in inspection technologies and integrate them into company operations.

4. Client and Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as the technical liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to clarify requirements and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide technical presentations and reports to clients, highlighting inspection outcomes and compliance levels.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.

5. Team Development and Leadership:

  • Supervise, mentor, and train the technical team to ensure skill development and adherence to quality standards.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that emphasizes innovation, precision, and accountability.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs to strengthen team expertise in inspection and QA/QC processes.

6. Resource Management and Project Coordination:

  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet project timelines and technical requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of technical reports, inspection documentation, and client deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion without compromising quality.

7. Business Development Support:

  • Collaborate with the business development team to provide technical insights for tender submissions and proposals.
  • Identify new service opportunities within the inspection domain and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

8. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Conduct risk assessments for technical operations, identifying potential challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that health, safety, and environmental protocols are strictly followed during inspection activities.

9. Performance Metrics and Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish KPIs to measure the performance and efficiency of technical operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance data and client feedback.
  • Implement best practices to enhance inspection accuracy and operational efficiency.

Educational Requirements:

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
  • Extensive knowledge of inspection standards and methodologies such as NDT, API, ASME, or ISO.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering  with a focus on Operations Management.
  • Certifications such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), NDT Level III Certification, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Experience Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the inspection industries.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex inspection projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Fabrication sectors.
