Vision Trust, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving eye health, is launching a one-year School Screening Program in Karachi, in collaboration with one of our prestigious donors. We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to run this donor-supported initiative. Duration: This role is project-based for one year, with potential for extension depending on program needs, performance, and funding.
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct training of screeners (teachers and children) in vision screening and primary eye care.
● Supervise and support vision screening and refraction tests in schools.
● Diagnose eye health issues and provide referrals for further treatment if necessary..
● Maintain records of screenings and outcomes.
Qualifications:
● Degree in optometry/Clinical ophthalmology or relevant from a recognized institution.
● Minimum 2 years of clinical or field experience, preferably with children.
● Excellent diagnostic, refraction and patient care/counseling skills.
