Job Purpose:

The incumbent shall be responsible for developing session plans, inculcating required technical skills through providing theoretical and practical training. He/she will also be responsible to maintain trainees’ data, attendance and activity records of the respective batches.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Training Delivery

• Design and deliver training sessions on travel and tourism management as per NAVTTC/approved curriculum.

• Use innovative teaching methodologies, including interactive activities, case studies, and role-plays, to ensure participant engagement.

• Conduct both theoretical and practical sessions covering areas such as travel planning, tour operations, hospitality services, and customer relationship management as per approved course curriculum.

Curriculum Development

• Develop and customize training materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools to meet program objectives.

• Ensure the curriculum aligns with national and international industry standards and trends.

• Develop weekly and monthly work plans along with break-up of course content as per approved training schedule/scheme.

Participant Evaluation

• Prepare and facilitate conducting Pre, Post and final evaluations of trainees.

• Prepare and facilitate conducting weekly/monthly assessments.

• Assess trainees’ performance through tests, assignments, and practical activities.

• Provide constructive feedback and recommend improvement plans for underperforming participants.

Industry Collaboration

• Stay updated on industry developments to ensure training content remains relevant and current.

• Prepare trainees for exams and important events as per industry trends/needs.

Program Administration

• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and trainee evaluations.

• Prepare progress reports and share feedback with the training coordinator or program manager.

• Coordinate with the program team for smooth execution of the training schedule.

• Place purchase requisitions for material/ equipment for practical sessions.

• Facilitate program staff and colleagues in events e.g. Certificate distributions ceremonies, awareness sessions, and job fairs etc.

• Facilitate program team to review trainees attendance and obtain feedback of absentees on daily basis.

• Any other task assigned by the management.

Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s degree or sixteen years of education in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. Prior experience in training or capacity-building roles is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in travel management software, online booking platforms, or any customer service tools will have additional value.

• Should have knowledge of travel and tourism regulations, including visa processing, and travel safety – knowledge on the working of travel & Toursim sector in Pakistan.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to motivate and inspire trainees from diverse backgrounds
