Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling large-scale construction projects, specifically dams, water-retaining structures, and building works. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets and costs.
Conduct detailed measurements and valuations for all project aspects.
Review and manage contractual claims and provide assistance with disputes.
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
Coordinate with the project management team to ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting.
Monitor material usage and advise on cost-effective solutions.
Regularly liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in dams, water-retaining structures, and building works.
Proficiency in QS software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
